SHORT 02
00:16Faces of the game
A film by Stas Mareev Science fiction / Action thriller
Everyone has a price.
Survival takes two.
Two former spouses. One survival game. A city paid to stand in their way.
The rules sound simple: reach the destination before time runs out.
But strangers receive your photograph — and a financial incentive to help you, or stop you. Every street becomes a trap. Every encounter becomes a wager.
Thrown into the game together, two former spouses must move beyond old grievances and learn to trust each other again. In a world that turns human lives into transactions, their best chance of survival is each other.

A working city of towers, railways and harbours.
Humans and machines. Surveillance and survival.

Former spouses become reluctant allies. Their shared history can divide them — or keep them alive.

Behind the screens, the game turns the city into a controlled route of risks and rewards.

Ordinary people become participants. The difference between an ally and a threat is an incentive.
Selected concept slides from the film’s visual development. Places imagined for the expanded world of HANDICAP 2.0.
